One of the proud achievements of Thanh Binh industrial park is land clearance. Up to now, more than 80% of the total area of phase I of the industrial park has been cleared, equivalent to more than 64 ha out of the total 73.36 ha. a. What is occupational safety training?

• The occupational safety training in Bac Kan is an intensive training course on occupational safety for those working in industry, construction, manufacturing, and high-risk sectors. This training is organized by Nam Viet occupational safety training centers at Thanh Binh industrial park.
• In this course, trainees will be provided with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure safety for themselves and colleagues during work. Training topics include legal regulations on occupational safety, identification and assessment of potential risks, methods of inspecting and maintaining safety equipment, first aid skills, and handling emergency situations.

• Group 5: 16 hours
• Group 6: 4 hours

c. Training content

d. Occupational safety training certificate

• The training certificate is specified in form 08, appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP and issued for groups 1, 2, 5, 6.
• The certificate size is 13 cm x 19 cm, its outer cover is sky blue.

Occupational safety card

• The occupational safety card is specified in form 06, appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• Workers in group 3 will be granted an occupational safety card (commonly referred to as occupational safety certificate for group 3).
• The card size is 60 mm x 90 mm, the front and back content is shown as below.

The employer may issue group 3 safety cards to trained workers after passing the required assessment and having a labor contract between both parties.

Training record book

• The training record book for groups 1, 2, 5, 6 is specified in form 09, appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• The training record book for group 3 is specified in form 10, appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• The training record book for group 4 is specified in form 11, appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• Specifically, group 4 only receives a training record book without an occupational safety certificate group 4.

Specifically, Van Loi Minerals and Metallurgy Co., Ltd. has registered 25 ha to build a steel production complex with a capacity of 250,000 tons/year. This project is expected to employ about 1170 workers when operational. Toan Bo MATEXIM Joint Stock Company has registered nearly 5 ha to build a sponge iron factory with a capacity of 100,000 tons/year, expected to employ more than 200 workers. In addition, SAHABAK Joint Stock Company has registered 7 ha to build a wood processing factory with a capacity of 10,000 m3 of products/year and is expected to employ around 100 workers.
