• In this course, trainees will be provided with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure their safety and that of colleagues during work. Occupational safety training duration depends on many factors such as type of work, industry… However, the exact training duration for each group is regulated in Article 19 of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP

• Group 1: 16 hours
• Group 2: 48 hours
• Group 3: 24 hours
• Group 4: 16 hours
• Group 5: 16 hours
• Group 6: 4 hours

c. Contents of the training course

Occupational safety training contents include the knowledge and skills necessary to minimize workplace accident risks and ensure safety for workers and company assets. Specifically, training may cover:

d. Occupational safety training certificate

Occupational safety training certificate

• The occupational safety training certificate template is specified in form 08, appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP and is issued for groups 1,2,5,6.
• The certificate has dimensions of 13 cm x 19 cm, with a sky-blue front cover.

Occupational safety card

• The occupational safety card template is detailed in form 06, appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• Group 3 workers will be issued an occupational safety card (commonly known as group 3 safety certificate).
• The card has dimensions of 60 mm x 90 mm, with contents on both front and back as shown below.

The employer can issue a group 3 safety card to the employee after they pass the training requirements and have a labor contract between the two parties.

Training monitoring book

• The monitoring book for groups 1, 2, 5, 6 is detailed in form 09, appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• The monitoring book for group 3 is detailed in form 10, appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• The monitoring book for group 4 is detailed in form 11, appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• For group 4, only a monitoring book is issued, not a group 4 safety certificate.
