Occupational safety training duration depends on factors such as job type, industry… However, the exact total training duration for each group is stipulated in Article 19 of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP

• Group 1: 16 hours
• Group 2: 48 hours
• Group 3: 24 hours

• Group 5: 16 hours
• Group 6: 4 hours

• The certificate sample is described in detail in Form 08, Appendix II, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP and is issued to groups 1, 2, 5, 6.
• The certificate measures 13 cm x 19 cm, with a sky blue front cover.

Occupational Safety Card

• The safety card format is detailed in Form 06, Appendix II, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• Group 3 workers will be issued an Occupational Safety Card (commonly called Group 3 Occupational Safety Certificate).
• The card measures 60 mm x 90 mm, with front and back content as shown below.

Employers may issue a Group 3 safety card to trainees after passing the evaluation and having a labor contract between the two parties.

• Forms for tracking trainees in groups 1, 2, 5, 6 are described in Form 09, Appendix II, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Form for tracking group 3 trainees is described in Form 10, Appendix II, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Form for tracking group 4 trainees is described in Form 11, Appendix II, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Group 4 is only issued a tracking log without a Group 4 safety certificate.
