Since being approved by the Prime Minister to be added to the master plan for the development of industrial parks in Thai Nguyen province, Quyet Thang has quickly affirmed its position nationwide, becoming a symbol of industrial and technological development.

Established in 2009 with an initial area of 200 ha, Quyet Thang was oriented to develop into a High-Tech Industrial Park, focusing on software technology, electronics, and industrial production. However, Quyet Thang’s development path has not always been smooth. On June 12, 2014, the industrial park faced a reduction in its planned area to 105 ha, creating significant challenges for its construction and development. Nevertheless, the determination and continuous efforts of Thai Nguyen city helped Quyet Thang overcome difficulties and continue moving forward.

Unfortunately, although it was included in the plan long ago and already had a detailed construction plan, Quyet Thang still does not have an investor for infrastructure development. Hoan Viet Trading and Investment Joint Stock Company, which was initially assigned to prepare the detailed plan, did not implement the project as expected. This has created a new challenge for the development of the industrial park, but at the same time also opened opportunities for new investors and potential partners to contribute to the growth of Quyet Thang.

a. What is occupational safety training?

• The occupational safety training in Thai Nguyen is a specialized training program on occupational safety for workers in industry, construction, manufacturing, and high-risk sectors. This training is organized by Nam Viet’s occupational safety training centers at Quyet Thang Industrial Park.
• In this course, trainees will be provided with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure their own safety and that of colleagues during work. Training topics include legal regulations on occupational safety, identification and assessment of potential risks, methods of inspection and maintenance of safety equipment, first aid skills, and emergency response.

Occupational safety training duration depends on various factors such as type of job, industry… However, the exact duration for each group is regulated under Article 19 of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP

• Group 1: 16 hours
• Group 2: 48 hours
• Group 3: 24 hours
• Group 4: 16 hours
• Group 5: 16 hours
• Group 6: 4 hours

c. Training content

Occupational safety training content includes the necessary knowledge and skills to minimize workplace accident risks, ensuring safety for workers and company assets. Specifically, training may include the following:

d. Certificate of occupational safety training

Certificate of occupational safety and hygiene training

• The sample of the occupational safety and hygiene training certificate is specified in Form 08, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP and is issued for groups 1, 2, 5, 6.
• The certificate measures 13 cm x 19 cm, with a sky-blue outer cover.

• The outer content of the certificate is shown as in the picture above.

Occupational safety card

• The occupational safety card sample is specified in Form 06, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Employees in Group 3 will be issued an occupational safety card (commonly referred to as occupational safety certificate for group 3).
• The card measures 60 mm x 90 mm, with content on both front and back as shown below.

The employer may issue a Group 3 safety card to the trained employee after passing the required test and having a labor contract between the two parties.

Training monitoring book

• The training monitoring book for groups 1, 2, 5, 6 is specified in Form 09, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• The monitoring book for group 3 is specified in Form 10, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• The monitoring book for group 4 is specified in Form 11, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• For group 4, only a monitoring book is issued without a group 4 safety certificate.
