Occupational safety training duration depends on many factors such as the type of work, industry… However, the exact training time for each group is regulated in Article 19 of Decree 44/2016/NĐ-CP

• Group 1: 16 hours
• Group 2: 48 hours
• Group 3: 24 hours
• Group 4: 16 hours
• Group 5: 16 hours
• Group 6: 4 hours

c. Training content

• The sample certificate is described in Form 08, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/NĐ-CP and is issued to groups 1, 2, 5, and 6.
• The certificate is 13 cm x 19 cm in size, with a sky-blue front cover.

Occupational safety card

• The sample occupational safety card is described in detail in Form 06, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/NĐ-CP.
• Employees in Group 3 will be issued an occupational safety card (commonly referred to as a labor safety certificate for Group 3).
• The card size is 60 mm x 90 mm, with front and back content shown as below.

The employer can issue Group 3 safety cards to trainees after they pass the safety training assessment and have a valid labor contract between both parties.

Training record book

• The training record book for groups 1, 2, 5, and 6 is described in detail in Form 09, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/NĐ-CP.
• The training record book for Group 3 is described in detail in Form 10, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/NĐ-CP.
• The training record book for Group 4 is described in detail in Form 11, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/NĐ-CP.
• For Group 4, only a training record book is issued, without a Group 4 safety certificate.
