Occupational Safety Month 2025

“Enhancing the assessment and identification of hazards and risks, and proactively implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene in the workplace” ​

II. Objectives and Significance

This year’s theme emphasizes the importance of:​

• Assessing and identifying hazards and risks in the working environment.​

• Proactively implementing measures to prevent workplace accidents and occupational diseases.​

• Enhancing cooperation between authorities, sectors, and businesses in OSH work.​

• Launching Ceremony: Held on April 25, 2025, at the Vietnam–Soviet Friendship Labour Cultural Palace (Hanoi), with the participation of leaders of the Party, the State, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, and worker representatives.

• Communication and Education: Organizing communication campaigns, seminars, and discussions to raise OSH awareness for both workers and employers.​

• Training and Education: Providing occupational safety skills training, first aid, and fire prevention and fighting courses for workers.​

• Inspection and Supervision: Conducting inspections and audits on OSH compliance at businesses and production facilities.
