BASIC CONCEPT
Environmental pollution is the presence or accumulation of harmful substances or agents in the natural environment, negatively affecting the health of humans, animals, and plants, damaging the environment, and causing climate change. Sources of environmental pollution may come from human activities such as industry, agriculture, transportation, and energy consumption, as well as natural causes such as volcanic eruptions, desert dust, and emissions from geological activities.
