On 18/02/2008, according to the decision of the Bac Giang Provincial People’s Committee, Van Trung Industrial Park was officially established. Covering a large area of 433.28 ha, the industrial park was built in Van Trung, Tang Tien, Hoang Ninh communes of Viet Yen district and Noi Hoang commune of Yen Dung district, Bac Giang province.

Hong Hai Science and Technology Group (Taiwan) through FuGiang Co., Ltd. was assigned as the investor to build and develop infrastructure in the park. a. What is occupational safety training?

• The occupational safety training in Bac Giang is an intensive training course for those working in industrial, construction, manufacturing, and other high-risk occupations. This training is organized by Nam Viet’s occupational safety training centers at FuGiang Van Trung Industrial Park.
• In this course, trainees are provided with the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure safety for themselves and their colleagues during work. Training topics include labor safety regulations, risk identification and assessment, methods to inspect and maintain safety equipment, first aid skills, and emergency handling procedures.

Occupational safety training duration depends on factors such as job type and industry. However, the exact total training hours for each group are regulated in Article 19, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP

• Group 1: 16 hours
• Group 2: 48 hours
• Group 3: 24 hours
• Group 4: 16 hours
• Group 5: 16 hours
• Group 6: 4 hours

d. Occupational safety training certificate

Occupational Safety and Hygiene Training Certificate

• The certificate template is described in Form 08, Appendix II, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP, and is issued for Groups 1,2,5,6.
• The certificate size is 13 cm x 19 cm, with a sky blue front.

Occupational Safety Card

• The safety card template is described in Form 06, Appendix II, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• Group 3 workers are issued the Occupational Safety Card (commonly called Group 3 Occupational Safety Certificate).
• The card size is 60 mm x 90 mm, with front and back content as shown below.

The employer may issue a Group 3 safety card to the trainee after passing the assessment and having a labor contract between the two parties.

Trainee Monitoring Log

• Monitoring logs for Groups 1,2,5,6 are described in Form 09, Appendix II, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Monitoring logs for Group 3 are described in Form 10, Appendix II, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Monitoring logs for Group 4 are described in Form 11, Appendix II, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Group 4 is only issued a log, no Group 4 Safety Certificate.
