CIRCULAR
Issuing the list of jobs with strict occupational safety and hygiene requirements

Pursuant to Clause 6, Article 14 of the Law on Occupational Safety and Hygiene No. 84/2015/QH13 dated June 25, 2015;
Pursuant to Decree No. 14/2017/ND-CP dated February 17, 2017 of the Government on defining functions, duties, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Occupational Safety;
The Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs promulgates this Circular on the issuance of the list of jobs with strict occupational safety and hygiene requirements.
Article 1. List of jobs with strict occupational safety and hygiene requirements in Circular 06/2020/TT-BLĐTBXH
- Issued together with this Circular is the list of jobs with strict occupational safety and hygiene requirements.
- This Circular applies to the subjects prescribed in Article 2 of the Law on Occupational Safety and Hygiene, except for Vietnamese workers working abroad under contract.
Article 2. Effectiveness of Circular 06/2020/TT-BLĐTBXH
- This Circular takes effect from October 5, 2020.
- Circular No. 13/2016/TT-BLĐTBXH dated June 16, 2016 of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs on issuing the list of jobs with strict occupational safety and hygiene requirements shall cease to be effective from the effective date of this Circular.
- During the implementation of this Circular, any difficulties should be reported to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs for study and resolution.

| 3 | Testing, producing, using, storing, and transporting explosives and explosive accessories. |

| 11 | Forest planning survey; geological, topographic, marine, geophysical surveys; mineral and oil & gas exploration, exploitation, processing; manufacturing, using, operating, maintaining, and repairing facilities and equipment in mineral and oil & gas exploitation onshore and offshore. |
| 12 | Construction works including: supervising construction; surveying; construction, installation; repairing, renovating, relocating, restoring, demolishing; warranty and maintenance; operating and testing constructions. |
| 13 | Working in confined spaces or where toxic gases may occur such as tunnels, tanks, wells, sewers, and underground works; operating and maintaining pipelines; industrial cleaning, environmental sanitation, farm sanitation, wastewater and waste treatment, sewer unclogging. |
| 14 | Operating, maintaining, repairing, testing, and inspecting electrical equipment, power lines, and power plants; operating battery charging stations, repairing and maintaining batteries. |
| 15 | Metal welding and cutting. |
| 16 | Directly operating trains, trams; driving, repairing, and maintaining vehicles of all kinds. |
| 17 | Directly producing and processing construction materials, ceramics, glass, plastics. |
| 18 | Professional rescue and emergency services. |
| 19 | Directly producing and processing leather, feathers; dyeing; silk processing. |
| 20 | Directly cutting, sawing, and processing timber; industrial wood processing; regularly manually handling heavy loads of 30 kg or more. |
| 21 | Directly cooking and processing food in collective kitchens with 300 meals per day or more. |
| 22 | Medical examination and treatment; caring for people with disabilities or patients; pathology, forensic examination, microbiological testing; pharmaceutical sector jobs. |

| 28 | Circus performers, animal circus; professional athletes, coaches in sports and physical training. |
| 29 | Working with computer screen equipment including air traffic control, remote operation and monitoring via screens. |
| 30 | Directly performing cremation or burial. |
| 31 | Special jobs in the military sector included in the list of heavy, toxic, hazardous and extremely heavy, toxic, hazardous jobs. |
| 32 | Directly operating motorized agricultural machines including threshers, harvesters, plows, mowers, pesticide sprayers, water pumps. |
Workers performing any of the jobs listed above belong to Group 3. They must receive occupational safety training specific to each job before starting work.
