b. Training Duration
Initial Safety Training Duration
- The total training time is at least 24 hours, including testing time.
- 8 hours of theory on policies and occupational safety and hygiene laws
- 8 hours of theory on basic occupational safety and hygiene knowledge
- 4 hours of theory on specialized training content
- 2 hours of practical training on specialized content
- 2 hours of theoretical exam at the end of the training course
The safety training center schedules multiple sessions depending on workers’ availability. Usually, there are 6 training sessions over 3 days, provided the manufacturing company can allocate continuous training time.
Periodic Safety Training Duration
- Before the occupational safety card expires, workers seeking re-issuance must undergo periodic occupational safety training, with training duration at least 50% of the initial training duration.
Explanation: Total periodic occupational safety training must be at least 12 hours, including testing. After completing the course and passing the test, the worker’s occupational safety card will be reissued or extended.

- If the worker is freelance or temporary, without an employment contract, the training unit must sign, stamp, and validate the safety card after the worker completes the course and passes the exam.

3. Identifying Hazards Affecting Workers in Photo Album Manufacturing
Hazards affecting workers in photo album manufacturing may include:
- Eye injuries: Working in dusty and chemical-laden environments can cause eye inflammation or burns.
- Machinery accidents: Machines, especially cutters and presses, can be dangerous if not properly used or equipped with safety measures.
- Chemical exposure: Photo album manufacturing uses hazardous chemicals such as phosphorescent agents, dyes, and solvents. Without proper protective gear and safety procedures, workers risk exposure.
- Fire and explosion hazards: Chemicals used in manufacturing may ignite when exposed to heat or flame, requiring fire prevention and control measures.
- Electrical hazards: Poorly maintained electrical equipment or inadequate insulation can lead to electric shocks during manufacturing.
- Food safety hazards: If the factory produces food products alongside albums, proper handling and hygiene are essential.
4. Common Occupational Accidents for Workers in Photo Album Manufacturing
Common occupational accidents during Photo Album manufacturing may include:
- Hand and Finger Injuries: When handling cutting, stamping, or binding tools for photo albums.
- Eye Injuries: When exposed to strong light, especially during photography or drying multiple photo albums at once.
- Chemical Poisoning: Due to the use of chemicals such as dyes, adhesives, or cleaning agents.
- Dust Exposure: From working with paper and other dust materials during photo album manufacturing.
- Cuts and Scrapes: When contacting sharp edges or hard materials during photo album manufacturing.
