The history of the Vietnam – Japan Friendship Industrial Park began in 2013 when Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in economic infrastructure development, which included the construction of the industrial park.
Later, on August 27, 2016, General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Vietnam – Japan Friendship Industrial Park at Cai Cui Port, Can Tho City. This project was implemented with investment support from the Japanese government and cooperation from Japanese enterprises.
After the construction and development process, on November 3, 2018, the inauguration ceremony of the Vietnam – Japan Friendship Industrial Park took place in Can Tho City. This event also commemorated the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan.
The Vietnam – Japan Friendship Industrial Park has been planned and built to create a favorable environment for Vietnamese and Japanese enterprises to invest, produce, and export. This training is organized by Nam Viet’s professional occupational safety training centers at the Vietnam – Japan Friendship Industrial Park.
- In this course, participants are provided with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure safety for themselves and their colleagues at work. Training topics include labor safety regulations, hazard identification and risk assessment, methods for inspecting and maintaining safety equipment, first aid skills, and emergency response procedures.

c. Training content

d. Occupational safety training certificate
Occupational Safety and Hygiene Training Certificate
- The certificate template is described in form 08, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP and is issued to Groups 1, 2, 5, and 6.
- The certificate measures 13 cm x 19 cm, with a sky blue front cover.

- The occupational safety card template is detailed in form 06, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
- Group 3 employees will be issued an occupational safety card (commonly referred to as Group 3 occupational safety certificate).
- The card measures 60 mm x 90 mm, with front and back content shown in the image below.

The employer may issue a Group 3 occupational safety card to the trained employee after passing the assessment and having a labor contract between the two parties.

- For Group 4, only the tracking book is issued; there is no Group 4 safety certificate.
