Occupational safety training duration depends on many factors such as job type, industry… However, the exact training duration of each group is regulated in Article 19 of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP

• Group 1: 16 hours
• Group 2: 48 hours
• Group 3: 24 hours

• Group 5: 16 hours
• Group 6: 4 hours

Certificate of occupational safety and hygiene training

• The sample certificate of occupational safety and hygiene training is described in detail in Form 08 Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP and is issued to groups 1, 2, 5, 6.
• Accordingly, the sample certificate has a size of 13 cm x 19 cm, its outer side is sky blue.

• The content of the outer side of the certificate is shown as in the picture above
• The inner side of the certificate has a white background and its content is shown as below.

The employer may issue a group 3 safety card to the trained worker after passing the required test and having a labor contract between the two parties.

Training monitoring book

• The training monitoring book for groups 1, 2, 5, 6 is described in detail in Form 09 Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• The training monitoring book for group 3 is described in detail in Form 10 Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• The training monitoring book for group 4 is described in detail in Form 11 Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• For group 4, only the monitoring book is issued, without a group 4 safety certificate.
