Occupational safety training duration depends on many factors such as job type, industry, etc. However, the exact training time for each group is specified in Article 19 of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP

d. Occupational safety training certificate

• The certificate format is described in Form 08, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP and is issued for groups 1, 2, 5, 6.
• The certificate size is 13 cm x 19 cm, with a sky-blue outer cover.

Labor safety card

• The format of the labor safety card is detailed in Form 06, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Group 3 workers will be issued a labor safety card (commonly referred to as a labor safety certificate for group 3).
• The card size is 60 mm x 90 mm, with front and back content shown below.

The employer may issue Group 3 labor safety cards to employees after passing the required training and signing a labor contract between both parties.

• Record book format for groups 1, 2, 5, 6 is detailed in Form 09, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Record book format for group 3 is detailed in Form 10, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Record book format for group 4 is detailed in Form 11, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• For group 4, only the record book is issued, without a group 4 labor safety certificate.
