Occupational safety training duration depends on many factors such as job type, industry, etc. However, the exact training duration for each group is regulated in Article 19 of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP

• Group 1: 16 hours
• Group 2: 48 hours

• Group 5: 16 hours

d. Occupational safety training certificate

Occupational safety and hygiene training certificate

• The training certificate is designed according to form 08, appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP and is issued to groups 1, 2, 5, and 6.
• The certificate has a size of 13 cm x 19 cm, with a sky-blue cover.

Occupational safety card

• The occupational safety card is designed according to form 06, appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• Employees in group 3 will be issued an occupational safety card (commonly referred to as a labor safety certificate for group 3).
• The card measures 60 mm x 90 mm, with the front and back contents shown as below.

Employers can issue group 3 safety cards to trained employees after they pass the required assessment and have a valid labor contract with the employer.

Training record book

• The training record book for groups 1, 2, 5, and 6 is designed according to form 09, appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• The training record book for group 3 is designed according to form 10, appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• The training record book for group 4 is designed according to form 11, appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• For group 4, only the training record book is issued, not the group 4 safety certificate.
