The time for occupational safety training depends on many factors such as the type of job, occupation, etc. However, the exact total training time for each group is regulated in Article 19 of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP

• Group 1: 16 hours
• Group 2: 48 hours
• Group 3: 24 hours
• Group 4: 16 hours
• Group 5: 16 hours
• Group 6: 4 hours

c. Content of the training course

d. Occupational safety training certificate

Occupational safety and hygiene training certificate

• The occupational safety and hygiene training certificate template is specified in template 08 of appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP and they are issued for groups 1, 2, 5, 6.
• Accordingly, the certificate template has a size of 13 cm x 19 cm, and its outer side is sky blue.

• The inner side of the certificate has a white background and the content is shown below.

Occupational safety card

• The occupational safety card template is detailed in template 06 of appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Group 3 employees will be issued an occupational safety card (in practice, it is often called the occupational safety certificate for group 3).
• Accordingly, the card template has a size of 60 mm x 90 mm, and the content on the front and back is shown as in the image below.

The employer can issue a group 3 safety card to the trained employee after they have passed the examination and there is a labor contract between the two parties.

Trained person monitoring logbook

• The trained person monitoring logbook template for groups 1, 2, 5, 6 is detailed in template 09 of appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• The trained person monitoring logbook template for group 3 is detailed in template 10 of appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• The trained person monitoring logbook template for group 4 is detailed in template 11 of appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Specifically, group 4 is only issued a monitoring logbook and not a group 4 safety certificate.

3. Employment issues in Soc Trang

The current employment situation in Soc Trang mainly focuses on occupations such as agriculture, animal husbandry, aquaculture, and tourism-related services.
