On May 19, 2011, Vietnam’s economic development vision reached another significant milestone when the Prime Minister approved the conversion of the Ca Na Steel Complex Project, Ninh Thuan province, into an Industrial Park (IP) – a major turning point in attracting investment and regional economic development.
Transforming from a Steel Complex to an Industrial Park
The history of Ca Na IP is not only a story of remarkable economic success but also an extraordinary journey of innovative transformation from a large-scale steel project into a modern multi-sector industrial park. May 19, 2011, will forever be remembered as the milestone marking the focus and determination of both the government and investors in shaping a new Ca Na – a hub for attracting skilled labor, developing industry, and contributing positively to the economic growth of Ninh Thuan province and the country.

c. Economic potential of Ca Na Industrial Park
Located in the South Central Coast, within Phuoc Diem commune, Thuan Nam district, Ninh Thuan province, Ca Na IP enjoys a prime location adjacent to National Highway 1 – a major arterial road of the country, facilitating smooth transportation and connectivity to surrounding areas.
Moreover, with Ca Na Port just 500m away and Cam Ranh Airport 90km away, Ca Na IP promises to become an important regional economic bridge attracting both domestic and foreign investment.
To attract investment and create a favorable business environment, Ca Na IP has been developed with a modern, synchronous infrastructure system according to international standards. The power system uses a 35Kv grid from a 110Kv high-capacity substation, the water system meets all domestic and production needs, the drainage system is separately designed for rainwater and wastewater, and a centralized wastewater treatment system with a first-phase capacity of 30,000 m³/day ensures environmental protection while promoting sustainable development.
Wide roads facilitate large vehicles moving easily within the area. The telecommunications system is installed to international standards, ensuring convenient communication with domestic and international markets.
With determination and commitment to developing Ca Na IP, Trung Nam Group (formerly Hoa Sen Group) has implemented policies and incentives to attract investors. This is clear evidence of confidence in the economic potential of the region and a commitment to contributing to the country’s comprehensive development.
