Chan May – Lang Co Economic Zone, where Chan May Industrial Park is located, was established in 2006 under Decision No. 04/2006/QĐ-TTg of the Prime Minister. This site was strategically chosen, including Lang Co town and the communes of Loc Thuy, Loc Tien, Loc Vinh, in Thua Thien Hue province. Within the Chan May – Lang Co Economic Zone, the Saigon – Chan May Industrial Park stands out with an actual area of 659.06 ha. • The occupational safety training course in Thua Thien Hue is an intensive training program on occupational safety for workers in industries such as construction, manufacturing, and other high-risk sectors. This training course is organized by Nam Viet’s occupational safety training centers at Chan May Industrial Park.
• In this course, trainees are provided with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure their own safety and that of their colleagues at work. Training topics include labor safety regulations, risk identification and assessment, methods of inspecting and maintaining safety equipment, first aid skills, and emergency response techniques.

Occupational safety training duration depends on many factors such as job type and industry. However, the exact training time for each group is specified in Article 19 of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP

• Group 1: 16 hours
• Group 2: 48 hours
• Group 3: 24 hours

• Group 5: 16 hours

d. Occupational safety training certificate

Occupational safety training certificate

• The sample occupational safety training certificate is specified in Form 08, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP and is issued to Groups 1, 2, 5, 6.
• The certificate measures 13 cm x 19 cm, with a sky-blue cover page.

Occupational safety card

• The occupational safety card sample is specified in Form 06, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• Group 3 workers will be issued an occupational safety card (commonly referred to as a Group 3 safety certificate ).
• The card measures 60 mm x 90 mm, with the front and back content shown below.

The employer may issue a Group 3 safety card to trained workers after they pass the required test and have a labor contract with the employer.

Training monitoring logbook

• The training monitoring logbook for Groups 1, 2, 5, 6 is specified in Form 09, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• The logbook for Group 3 is specified in Form 10, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• The logbook for Group 4 is specified in Form 11, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• Group 4 workers are only issued the logbook without a Group 4 safety certificate.
