• The occupational safety training in Thua Thien Hue is an intensive training course on occupational safety for people working in industry, construction, manufacturing, and high-risk occupations. This training course is organized by Nam Viet’s occupational safety training centers at Phong Dien Industrial Park.
• In this course, trainees are provided with the knowledge and skills necessary to ensure safety for themselves and their colleagues during work. Training topics include occupational safety regulations, identifying and assessing potential risks, methods for checking and maintaining safety equipment, first aid skills, and handling emergency situations.

Occupational safety training duration depends on various factors such as job type, industry… However, the exact training duration for each group is specified in Article 19 of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP

• Group 1: 16 hours
• Group 2: 48 hours
• Group 3: 24 hours
• Group 4: 16 hours
• Group 5: 16 hours
• Group 6: 4 hours

c. Training content

Occupational safety training content includes the necessary knowledge and skills to minimize workplace accident risks, ensuring safety for workers and company assets. Specifically, occupational safety training may include the following:

1. Knowledge of occupational safety laws, state and enterprise regulations on safety.
2. Knowledge of risks and types of workplace accidents.
3. Skills and methods of using personal protective equipment and common protective equipment.

5. How to handle dangerous situations and organize rescue operations when accidents occur.
6. Knowledge of protecting the work environment.

d. Occupational safety training certificate

Occupational safety and hygiene training certificate

• The occupational safety and hygiene training certificate template is specified in form 08, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP and is issued to groups 1, 2, 5, and 6.
• Accordingly, the certificate measures 13 cm x 19 cm, with a sky-blue cover.

Occupational safety card

• The occupational safety card template is specified in detail in form 06, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Workers in group 3 will be issued an occupational safety card (commonly referred to as a group 3 safety certificate ).
• Accordingly, the card measures 60 mm x 90 mm, with front and back content shown as below.

The employer may issue a group 3 safety card to the trained worker after passing the required test and having a labor contract between both parties.

Training logbook

• The training logbook template for groups 1, 2, 5, and 6 is specified in detail in form 09, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• The training logbook template for group 3 is specified in detail in form 10, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• The training logbook template for group 4 is specified in detail in form 11, Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• For group 4, only a logbook is issued, without a group 4 safety certificate.
