However, success did not come easily. After a period of formation and development, on 14/07/2014, the Prime Minister approved a reduction of Phu Thai Industrial Park’s area from 72 hectares to 57 hectares. This reflected flexibility and creativity in decision-making to optimize development potential and resource utilization.

Phu Thai Industrial Park is divided into two main subparks. The Eastern subpark, located in Kim Luong Commune, Kim Thanh District, Hai Duong Province, was planned for textile, electronic assembly technology, wood processing, warehousing, and services. This is where factories producing goods for the textile and advanced light industries are concentrated, while also committing to environmental protection requirements.

The Western subpark, under the administrative boundary of Phu Thai Town, Kim Thanh District, Hai Duong Province, was planned for factory and warehouse construction, focusing on textile, electronic assembly, warehousing services, and other light industries, ensuring compliance with environmental standards.

The water supply system is provided by Lai Vu Water Supply Joint Stock Company.

Currently, the park has reached a 100% occupancy rate with notable projects such as the electronic components project by EM Vina Co., Ltd., specialized machinery manufacturing by Ducar Technology Co., Ltd., sports equipment production by Bigfun Leisure Toys & Sport Vietnam Co., Ltd., electronic cable production by Yura Vietnam Co., Ltd., and garment production by Dong Tai Vietnam International Co., Ltd.

This training course is organized by Nam Viet’s occupational safety training centers at Phu Thai Industrial Park.
• In this course, trainees are equipped with essential knowledge and skills to ensure safety for themselves and their colleagues in the workplace. Occupational safety training duration depends on various factors such as job type, industry… However, the exact training duration for each group is regulated under Article 19 of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP

• Group 1: 16 hours
• Group 2: 48 hours
• Group 3: 24 hours
• Group 4: 16 hours
• Group 5: 16 hours
• Group 6: 4 hours

c. Training content

Occupational safety training content covers the knowledge and skills required to minimize workplace accident risks and ensure safety for employees and company assets. Specifically, the training may include:

1. Knowledge of labor safety laws and regulations by the government and enterprises.
2. Knowledge of risks and types of workplace accidents.
3. Skills and methods of using personal protective equipment and general protective equipment.

d. Occupational safety training certificate

Occupational safety and hygiene training certificate

• The occupational safety and hygiene training certificate template is specified in Form 08 of Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP and issued for groups 1, 2, 5, and 6.
• The certificate has a size of 13 cm x 19 cm, with its cover in sky blue color.

Occupational safety card

• The occupational safety card template is specified in Form 06 of Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• Employees in group 3 will be granted an occupational safety card (commonly referred to as a safety certificate for group 3).
• The card has dimensions of 60 mm x 90 mm, with its front and back sides shown below.

The employer may issue group 3 safety cards to employees after they meet training requirements and have a valid labor contract between both parties.

Training record book

• The training record book for groups 1, 2, 5, and 6 is specified in Form 09 of Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• The training record book for group 3 is specified in Form 10 of Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• The training record book for group 4 is specified in Form 11 of Appendix II of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• For group 4, only a training record book is issued without a group 4 safety certificate.
