With a total area of 1,586 ha, Hoa Lac is planned into 11 functional subdivisions. From the education and training area, research and deployment area, high-tech industrial area, software area to the central area, all aim to build a leading national center for research, development, and application of high technology.

• The occupational safety training in Hanoi is a specialized training course on occupational safety for workers in industrial, construction, manufacturing, and other high-risk professions. This training is organized by Nam Viet’s professional occupational safety training centers at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park.
• In this course, trainees are provided with the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure safety for themselves and their colleagues during work. Topics include legal regulations on occupational safety, identifying and assessing potential risks, methods to inspect and maintain safety equipment, first aid skills, and emergency response procedures.

Occupational safety training duration depends on factors such as type of work, industry, etc. However, the exact total training duration for each group is regulated in Article 19 of Decree 44/2016/ND-CP

• Group 1: 16 hours
• Group 2: 48 hours
• Group 3: 24 hours
• Group 4: 16 hours
• Group 5: 16 hours
• Group 6: 4 hours

c. Training content

Occupational safety training content includes essential knowledge and skills to minimize workplace accident risks and ensure safety for employees and company assets. Specifically, it may include:

1. Knowledge of occupational safety laws and regulations from the government and enterprises.

d. Occupational safety training certificates

Occupational safety and hygiene training certificate

• The certificate design follows Form 08, Appendix II, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP, and is issued to Groups 1, 2, 5, and 6.
• The certificate measures 13 cm x 19 cm, with a sky-blue front.

Occupational safety card

• The safety card design follows Form 06, Appendix II, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP
• Group 3 workers will receive an occupational safety card (commonly known as Group 3 safety certificate).
• The card measures 60 mm x 90 mm, with front and back content as shown below.

Employers can issue a Group 3 safety card to trained employees after passing the assessment and having an employment contract between both parties.

Training monitoring book

• Monitoring books for Groups 1, 2, 5, 6 are detailed in Form 09, Appendix II, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Monitoring book for Group 3 is detailed in Form 10, Appendix II, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Monitoring book for Group 4 is detailed in Form 11, Appendix II, Decree 44/2016/ND-CP.
• Group 4 only receives a monitoring book without a Group 4 safety certificate.
